New Fantasy Map Maker Blog Feature – Rate My Maps

Most of you subscribe to Free Fantasy Maps via email or RSS feeds – and for that I am grateful. If, however, you wouldn’t mind stopping by the site, I’ve implemented a new rating system for my maps and I’d love to get your feedback.

Rating the maps will help me see what you like (and what you don’t like) so hopefully I can then give you more of what you like.

At the bottom of each post you’ll see five lonely stars waiting for your sweet caress. Click on the star that best expresses how much you like that map (or post).

1 star = horrible, 5 stars = awesome.

Abuse me. Praise me. Just don’t ignore me! =P

  1. Since 1) you’re already skilled at this, and 2) I can’t really put out the funds for all I’d need, let alone the time to learn it… Well, to get right to the point – could you make a map or two for me?
I’m starting a new series and a modest town is going to be the center of all the stories. It also has a lush history – one that would require a map of the early town layout. One of the stories will involve a treasure, so at some point that older map would be needed. I have someone to do the character artwork, but the maps are important, as you already know.
So, would you be interested? I’m writing, that’s what I’m good at. I prefer getting people that are good at what they do, to help me create a better experience. Let me know if you’re available – you’ll get full credit for your work.
    Let’s talk.

    • Hi Starr,

Unfortunately, I’m not available for map making at the moment. However, I can point you in the right direction to find some help. Check out the “Mapmaking Requests” thread at the Cartographers’ Guild. There are a lot of talented cartographers there who would be willing/able to assist.

Good luck with your new series!
